Fourth of July!!

I hope you all had a great holiday weekend! We just wrapped up our fourth of July. Spending time with family and friends at the annual parade, bbq-ing, swimming, and of course a good old fashion firework show. We usually will get some fireworks for the kids too just to do for fun in the neighborhood! This year I think my kiddos had too much fun! They all ended up passing out before the show began on Fourth of July. Luckily we got to see a show on Saturday too!

I really love this time of year, It is my favorite holiday (next to Halloween of course!) It just gives me all those summer feels and reminds me of what we are really thankful for everyday! Freedom. We must remember to honor our troops who are and have sacrificed so much for our freedom! The historic holiday is a reminder of how grateful we are to be here and living in a country with so many opportunities!

I found this pretty little number with all the ruffle loving ya need! haha! It is a poplin material and can be worn casual or dressed up with heels or wedges. Paired with a straw hat and your good to go!

I love the color and oh those ruffles! Did I mentioned it also has pockets! YES, pockets!! I think when ever I find a cute dress with pockets it is a definite win!

I hope you enjoy!

A Not So Basic White Tee...

Hi there! Is anyone else finding it difficult to start the week? It is always so hard to get back into the swing of things after a holiday weekend. We had a great Memorial Day, hanging with the family and barbecuing. It is so nice to just relax and chill sometimes & not have too many things lined up for the weekend. With school out in just 1 week, I'm holding onto these relaxing days. Haha! I know it will soon be over!

I'm so in love with the current ruffle trend right now! This Not So Basic White Tee, is just the perfect mix of simple and chic with all those girly feels. The ruffle eyelet details is all you need to elevate the look. I also can't get enough of the my favorite espedrille platforms which are so comfortable (currently under $60). They have definitely passed the test for chasing around toddlers!! I've linked my look bellow and a few of my other faves! Have a fantastic Wednesday!

Thank you so much for following!

Palm Springs Weekend!

Hi All, this past weekend we had an opportunity to get away and enjoy a little family time and relaxation... Right... I say this with a smile because relaxation with 3 kids can be a stretch. Haha!! It's nice to stay at a place that not only is stylish and very spacious but also a kid friendly resort. The Marriot Shadow Ridge has an array of amenities and services. We enjoyed the Mirage Activity Center which included, Arts & Crafts, Game Centers, Build - A - Bear Workshops and even a movie theater. The kids had such a good time we celebrated James's 8th Birthday and of course Mother's Day! If I ask the kids their favorite part of the hotel, they would say hands down, "The Waterslide!" I admit I did enjoy a few rides myself. If you are local to the area or if you are just a few hours away like us, I would highly recommend The Marriot Shadow Ridge. They always seem to make each stay better than the last. We will be visiting the resort again this summer!! I hope all my Mother's out their enjoyed their special day. It doesn't have to be celebrated just once a year. A simple phone call and I love you can melt any mothers heart! I just hope my kids practice this when they get older...
